Nothing new "under the sun," what a phrase. Let us take a look at an example of this: Cloning.
In India cloning has been done for centuries. It is recorded in thier scriptures: Rigveda.
Rigveda, (Sanskrit: “The Knowledge of Verses”) also spelled Ṛgveda, the oldest of the sacred books of Hinduism, composed in an ancient form of Sanskrit about 1500 BCE, in what is now the Punjab region of India and Pakistan. It consists of a collection of 1,028 poems grouped into 10 “circles” (mandalas). It is generally agreed that the first and last books were created later than the middle books. The Rigveda was preserved orally before it was written down about 300 BCE. (See Veda).

Who is documented as cloning experts?
In Rigveda, Rubhus are mentioned as brothers (Rubhu, Vajra and Vibhu) who brought youthfulness to their old parents. Their father was old but they were cloned young to bring back the youth of aging parents. They even managed to bring back their lost skills. (They must have used ayurvedic recipes to bring back youthfulness. So much literature about such recipes exist even today but is neglected). Additionally, they also created a cloned horse and cow. According to Dr. Vartak these experiments are done about 25000 years ago.
Cloning of Rubhus is mentioned by seven different sages in seven different verses of rigveda. All of these sages were from different generations thus depicting that such a technology existed over a long period of human life and Rubhus Brothers were famous for a prolong period proving greatness of their work.
The first work of Rubhus was to bring back youthfulness to their old parents. These seven sages are Kanva Medhatithi (1-20-4), Angirasa Kutsa (1-110-111), Dheerghatamas (1-161), Vishwamitra (3-60), Vamadeva (4-33), Vaisistha Maitravaruni (7-48) and Sharuna Arbhava (10-176) and the hymns they composed on Rubhas are as follows: 1-20-4: With their exclusive power they made their old parents youthful again. 1-110-8: They made their old parents full of youth again by their skill. 1-111-1: Ingenious Rubhus prepared a chariot for Indra, prepared two powerful horses (2nd being cloned from 1st), made their old parents youthful again and gave new mothers to orphaned calves or children. 1-161-7: Oh Rubhus, with the power of your intelligence you converted your old parents into youthful state. 4-33-3: Rubhus who made their old parents youthful again may come to our Yajna. 4-34-9: Rubhus gave a new life to their old parents, to Aswinau, to a cow and a horse. 4-35-5: Oh, ingenious Rubhus, you made your old parents youthful again. 4-36-3: Oh, Rubhu, Vaja and Vibhu, your workmanship of making your old parents youthful again was praised by gods.

In the United States cloning has been going on for a very long time as well. An article titled, Molecular Cloning of Ancient Egypt from April 18, 1985 states:
Artificial mummification was practised in Egypt from ∼ 2600 BC until the fourth century AD. Because of the dry Egyptian climate, however, there are also many natural mummies preserved from earlier as well as later times. To elucidate whether this unique source of ancient human remains can be used for molecular genetic analyses, 23 mummies were investigated for DNA content. One 2,400-yr-old mummy of a child was found to contain DNA that could be molecularly cloned in a plasmid vector. I report here that one such clone contains two members of the Alu family of human repetitive DNA sequences, as detected by DNA hybridizations and nucleotide sequencing. These analyses show that substantial pieces of mummy DNA (3.4 kilobases) can be cloned and that the DNA fragments seem to contain little or no modifications introduced postmortem.

The major storage protein in many legume seeds is legumin, a hexameric molecule of molecular weight (Mr) 360,000–400,000 consisting of six subunit pairs, each of which comprises a 40,000-Mr, acidic polypeptide linked by disulphide bonds to a 20,000-Mr, basic polypeptide1. We have recently shown that these subunit pairs are synthesized, in vivo and in vitro in Pisumand Vicia2,3, as a 60,000-Mrprecursor polypeptide, putatively containing one copy each of the acidic and basic summits covalently linked together. We describe here the cloning and identification of cDNA sequences coding for the legumin precursor. Additionally, we have used these cDNAs to verify that the legumin mRNAs are of sufficient size to code for the precursor and to demonstrate the presence of four single-copy legumin genes in genomic DNA. Possible mechanisms for the processing of the legumin precursor are discussed. Identification of cloned cDNA sequences coding for vicilin, the secondary storage protein of Pisum sativum4, is also reported.

THE world's first cloned human embryo is the son of a rich Arab, according to claims made by Severino Antinori, the Italian fertility specialist.
Dr Antinori said that the embryo was the clone of a VIP and that he had been experimenting to produce human clones "in an Islamic country".
The doctor, who pledged with Panos Zavos, of the Andrology Institute of America in Lexington, Kentucky, to attempt to clone a baby by the end of 2001, caused outrage last week when he told a scientific meeting in the United Arab Emirates that a woman patient was eight weeks pregnant with a clone.
Severino Antinori, (born c. 1945, Teramo, Italy), Italian gynecologist and embryologist who championed the use of in vitro fertilization (IVF) techniques to aid older women in becoming pregnant. He generated significant controversy by devising human cloning procedures as another avenue in treating infertility.
Antinori studied medicine at the University of Rome, graduating in 1972, and then continued to work at the university, specializing in gastroenterology, in 1973–74. Later in the 1970s he shifted his specialty to obstetrics and gynecology, working at various hospitals and institutions in Italy and eventually establishing his own clinic in Rome. In 1987 Antinori established the International Associated Research Institute for Human Reproduction (RAPRUI) in Rome, where he experimented with the use of intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), a process whereby sperm was directly injected into an egg in an effort to circumvent some causes of infertility. In 1989 he announced the first successful implantation of an egg fertilized using IVF into a menopausal patient.

Japanese scientists are behind an ambitious project to bring the long-extinct mammal back from the dead.
The revival requires a sample of intact DNA for cloning purposes and an elephant to act as surrogate mother, donating an egg and her womb.

As some of you may already know, archeologists claim to have found the tombs of both Osiris (Egyptian god, usually identified as the god of the afterlife, the underworld and the dead) and the tomb of Gilgamesh (A king who was claimed to be one third man and two thirds god [66.6%]). Very shortly after the tomb of Gilgamesh was discovered, America invaded Iraq, where it was discovered. This was back in 2003, so we were just beginning the war on terror.

Ongoing excavations and research at Nimrud Mountain in Bitlis have revealed the history behind the tomb and treasures of King Nimrod. The real venue of the tomb, which was constructed 2,000 years ago, has been determined.
Writer and researcher Mehmet Törehan Serdar said his team has determined the location of the tomb after an extensive period of research. Noting that the mountain in Adıyaman has no relation to the mountain in Bitlis, Serdar said, “This is only a resemblance in name. The reason being, there is another kin of Adıyaman’s Nimrod in Nemrut.”King Nimrod, according to the Book of Genesis and the Books of Chronicles, was the son of Cush and great-grandson of Noah, and the King of Shinar. He is depicted in the Tanakh as a man of power on earth and a mighty hunter.
Extra-biblical traditions associating him with the Tower of Babel led to his reputation as a king who rebelled against God.

People not familiar with biblical eschatology may find this idea fantastic, that the being who becomes the Antichrist was once alive, then was dead, and returns from the grave to rule the Novus Ordo Seclorum. But this is exactly what Revelation 17:8 appears to say will happen: “The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition [Apoleia,]: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder… when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.” Further, the mythos of the Eye of Horus on the Great Seal, which so fascinated Wallace and company, represents this very concept of deity incarnation into the “King” that is to rule. As mentioned earlier in this blog series, in ancient Egypt where this Great Seal symbol originated, each Pharaoh “became” the incarnation of the falcon god Horus during his lifetime, and at death, the Osiris—the divine judge of the netherworld.
As biotechnology and synthetic biology advance to the degree that we can now realistically anticipate reviving long-dead species, I have been able to convince a few scholarly minds that the Man of Sin could in fact be the return of a deceased Apollo/Osiris/Nimrod who arrives via biotech resurrection. Even Chuck Missler, though not with the same details, raised the appropriate question not long ago in an online article about the Antichrist: “Could it be that this final world dictator will be, in some sense, a return of Nimrod?” In my opinion, this is more than a possibility, and I remember with curiosity how in 1998, Zahi Hawass, the current Secretary General of Egypt’s Supreme Council of Antiquities, claimed to have found the burial tomb of the god Osiris (Apollo/Nimrod) at the Giza Plateau. In the article Sandpit of Royalty from the newspaper Extra Bladet (Copenhagen), January 31, 1999, Hawass was quoted saying:
“I have found a shaft, going 29 meters vertically down into the ground, exactly halfway between the Chefren Pyramid and the Sphinx. At the bottom, which was filled with water, we have found a burial chamber with four pillars. In the middle is a large granite sarcophagus, which I expect to be the grave of Osiris, the god…I have been digging in Egypt’s sand for more than 30 years, and up to date this is the most exciting discovery I have made…. We found the shaft in November and began pumping up the water recently. So several years will pass before we have finished investigating the find.” [5]
In the tenth chapter of the book of Enoch, it says the Watchers who were judged during the flood would be bound beneath the hills of the earth for 70 generations, until the day of their final judgment when they will be released from those confines and thrown into an abyss of fire, “to the torment and the prison in which they shall be confined for ever.”
But in the fifteenth chapter, Enoch writes about the deceased offspring of the Watchers, the giants or Nephilim, and describes them as being released at the same time to bring slaughter and destruction upon man:
“The spirits of the giants…shall be concealed, and shall not rise up against the sons of men, and against women; until they come forth during the days of slaughter and destruction” (Enoch 15:9-10).
This particular prophecy mirrors those of Isaiah and other apocryphal works, which indicate a future date in which Watchers will rise for judgment while their giant offspring resurrect “from beneath the hills of the earth” to wreak havoc upon earth. According to Enoch, this unparalleled event is scheduled to occur after 70 generations have passed from the time of the Flood.
