To get a better understanding of what is meant by the physical and spiritual realms merging we must look at the events that take place in Revelation 6:12-17 For this seal opens up the Heavens.
Revelation 6:12-17
And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great G3173 earthquake G4578; and the sun G2246 became G1096 black G3189 as sackcloth G4526 of hair G5155, and the moon G4582 became G1096 as blood G129;
13 And the stars G792 of heaven G3772 fell G4098 unto the earth G1093, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?
We know this seal has yet to occur because islands have not been moved, mountains are still in the same place and there are stars in the heavens. The sun isn't black and the moon isn't blood. People have not ran from this event and hidden themselves for the Day of The Lord is not yet in fulfillment.
As always we are going to look at our definitions and context of words in these verses. We will look at other books that have predicted this day and the events that will take place in greater details. For the more information we have the less we can be afraid as this segment of the seal is titled day of terror in the bibles and is a fearmongering tactic used by religion.
Remember: Abba Yah is Not A God/Yah of Terror. Those who Abide in His Word Shall Have No Fear for what is about to take place on the whole earth.
Great is a word we learned in the other seals and has different meanings and usage. The usage we will be learning today is:
Great-G3173-μέγαςmégas, meg'-as; (including the prolonged forms, feminine μεγάλη megálē, plural μεγάλοι megáloi, etc.; compare also G3176, G3187); big (literally or figuratively, in a very wide application):—(+ fear) exceedingly, great(-est), high, large, loud, mighty, + (be) sore (afraid), strong, × to years.
Of the External form or sensible appearance of things or person and the rest of the definition found outline under heading A is the usage applied to this verse. This earthquake is going to be World Wide, The Opening of Heaven is Going to be seen world wide and these events that will be taking place are Not going to be isolated events like we have been use to so far.
Earthquake-G4578
The Definition of Tempest means: a violent windy storm.
So we see here that the great earthquake is not just an earthquake in the sense of what we are accustom to, but a violent windy storm that will open up heaven.

Collins Dictionary defines wrought as:

If something has wrought a change, it has made it happen.
The Person making the change in this case is Abba Yah/ The Lord God Almighty.

For the term sackcloth we will look at the Hebrew origin H8242 this way we know our words and have a proper understanding when we look at prophecy regarding this time yet to come.

So in Revelation 6:12 we learn that a great wind storm and shaking of the entire earth, sky and ground will occur and miracles regarding the sun and moon are to take place changing their physical color. Let us now look at some supporting verses
Enoch 41:8
8. For the sun changes oft for a blessing or a curse,
And the course of the path of the moon is light to the righteous
And darkness to the sinners in the name of the Lord,
Jubilees 1:26-28
And He said to the angel of the presence: Write for Moses from the beginning of creation till My sanctuary has been built among them for all eternity.
And the Lord will appear to the eyes of all, and all shall know that I am the God of Israel and the Father of all the children of Jacob, and King on Mount Zion for all eternity. And Zion and Jerusalem shall be holy.'
And the angel of the presence who went before the camp of Israel took the tables of the divisions of the years -from the time of the creation- of the law and of the testimony of the weeks of the jubilees, according to the individual years, according to all the number of the jubilees [according, to the individual years], from the day of the [new] creation when the heavens and the earth shall be renewed and all their creation according to the powers of the heaven, and according to all the creation of the earth, until the sanctuary of the Lord shall be made in Jerusalem on Mount Zion, and all the luminaries be renewed for healing and for peace and for blessing for all the elect of Israel, and that thus it may be from that day and unto all the days of the earth.
Isaiah 13:9-11
Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.
10 For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.
11 And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.
Zephaniah 1:15
That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness,
Matthew 24:29-30
Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
As you can see in these verses, our ancestors were shown what is to occur. From Enoch to John the end times were know, and as it was in the days of Noah, people are not listening or taking heed to those who are waring them to repent.
Let us continue with Revelation 6:13
the stars-G792-ἀστήρastḗr, as-tare'; probably from the base of G4766; a star (as strown over the sky), literally or figuratively:—star.
We know the stars are not balls of gas floating in the air like we have been indoctrinated to believe. These stars are angels and Revelation 1:20 tells us this

The mystery of the seven stars G792 which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars G792 are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.

to fall-G4098-†πίπτωpíptō, pip'-to; probably akin to G4072 through the idea of alighting; to fall (literally or figuratively):—fail, fall (down), light on.
The definition of alighting means:
verb (used without object), a·light·ed or a·lit, a·light·ing.
to dismount from a horse, descend from a vehicle, etc. to settle or stay after descending: The bird alighted on the tree.
to encounter or notice something accidentally.
These angels are going to stay on this earth once they descend and everyone is going to see this event occur for the angels will fall on the Whole Earth.
the earth-G1093-γῆgē, ghay; contracted from a primary word; soil; by extension a region, or the solid part or the whole of the terrene globe (including the occupants in each application):—country, earth(-ly), ground, land, world.
Matthew 24:29 tells us the angels will fall during this time and so does Mark
Isaiah 31:4
4 The sun, moon, and stars will crumble to dust. The sky will disappear like a scroll being rolled up, and the stars will fall like leaves dropping from a vine or a fig tree.
Mark 13:25
And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.
Let us continue with Revelation 6:14. This verse is self explanatory as the heavens will open and roll up as you unroll a scroll and mountains and islands will be moved. Do other sources give us this same reference to the End Times? Yes, most definintly
Enoch 1:1-6
The words of the blessing of Enoch, wherewith he blessed the elect and righteous, who will be living in the day of tribulation, when all the wicked and godless are to be removed. 2. And he took up his parable and said Enoch a righteous man, whose eyes were opened by God, saw the vision of the Holy One in the heavens, which the angels showed me, and from them I heard everything, and from them I understood as I saw, but not for this generation, but for a remote one which is for to come. 3. Concerning the elect I said, and took up my parable concerning them:
The Holy Great One will come forth from His dwelling,
4. And the eternal God will tread upon the earth, (even) on Mount Sinai, [And appear from His camp] And appear in the strength of His might from the heaven of heavens.
5. And all shall be smitten with fear And the Watchers shall quake, And great fear and trembling shall seize them unto the ends of the earth.
6. And the high mountains shall be shaken, And the high hills shall be made low, And shall melt like wax before the flame
Again we learn that Enoch knew of the Day of Judgment and what we are facing now. This is a vital reason why Enoch was kept from us for so long and why reading Enoch is vital for understanding the end times we are now living in.
Isaiah 34:1-4
Come, people of all nations! Gather around and listen. Let the whole earth and everyone living on it come here and listen. 2 The Lord is angry with all the nations and all their armies. He has condemned them to destruction. 3 Their corpses will not be buried, but will lie there rotting and stinking; and the mountains will be red with blood. 4 The sun, moon, and stars will crumble to dust. The sky will disappear like a scroll being rolled up, and the stars will fall like leaves dropping from a vine or a fig tree.
Isaiah 42:15
I will make waste mountains and hills, and dry up all their herbs; and I will make the rivers islands, and I will dry up the pools.
Joel 2:1-2
Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the Lord cometh, for it is nigh at hand;

For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.
23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.
Yasher 12:67
And if he do unto thee greater good than this, surely these are only vanities of the world, for wealth and riches cannot avail in the day of wrath and anger.
Knowing what's to come and how we have been told about the Day of The Lord since Creation is key to understanding that these end times were ordained to root out all evil and darkness. I don't know why good and evil were both created all I know is this: Our Time Line is Different than Yah's and this seal merges them together. The principalities and rulers of Ephesians 6:12 know they have little time left to set up their desired kingdom. The thing is this: they already have their kingdom, we Yah's people are in the way and because Yah is Love He saves us from the evilness of this world Once and For All. In order to rid the unclean demon spirits, this earth has to be destroyed by fire and brimstone which is spoken about by many prophets
