Ephesians 6:11-17

Before we are Reborn, Rectified, Redeemed by Jesus Christ, we have demons we battle. As this battle draws to a conclusion: picking who to follow God or satan, repenting of our Sins is a must. Baptisim is also somthing that should be done as a symbol of washing the old self away and putting on the new, the Clean Garments. Public baptism at an age where one can confess their Sins and Claim Christ is thier Messiah is the Only acceptable baptism. (If a child can speak for themselves, then that is great, however a baby born an infant cannot.)
This sermon is going to discuss how to identify the demons that keep attacking you. Ephesians tells you how to deal with them, and yes it works. The problem with the world today is the people believe demons are just aliens, foreign entities, or spirits that haunt. The Truth is demons are all of that and more. This sermon will teach you about the demons within. We are going to first see examples of those who were released by demons...
How Do Demons Enter Us
Bottom line – demons cannot enter into a person’s body without having some kind of legal permission and legal right to be able to do so. They need some kind of an entry point to be able to get in and attach to someone, and that entry point will be their door opener.

1. Direct Willful Sin
Here are some of the direct willful sins, if committed on any kind of regular basis, will get us into major trouble in the spiritual realm with demons:
Any kind of criminal activity
Doing any type of heavier drugs
Abuse of alcohol
Abortion
Adultery
Inflicting heavy verbal or physical abuse on another person
2. Inheritance – Generational Curses
Another major area that demons will look to play in is in the area of the family generation line.
Say you have a father who is a severe alcoholic. He marries, has several children, but never breaks his addiction to the alcohol during his entire married life.
As a result of his addiction, all of his children will be forced to watch all of the negative things that will be going along with it.
Many alcoholic men end up abusing both their wives and their children – either verbally, physically, and/or sexually throughout much of their married life. As a result of this kind of severe transgression against the Lord, demons will be allowed to come in and attach themselves to the sinning alcoholic father.
The demons will have full legal right to be able to come directly after the father for crossing over into this kind of an extreme realm to begin with if God should so choose to allow this to happen.
Once the demons attach and settle in on the sinning, alcoholic father, they will then see which of the children they can try and target. What they will try and do is persuade and influence one or more of the children to become an alcoholic themselves – just like their father was.
3. The Occult
Another major area to look for is any dabbling whatsoever with any area of the occult. I am talking about playing with a ouija board even one time, or seeing a fortuneteller or psychic even one time.
4. Unforgiveness
Another major area that demons will really target is in the area of unforgiveness. The reason demons will move in so strongly on this area is due to the following verse:
“AND WHENEVER YOU STAND PRAYING, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses.” (Mark 11:25)
5. Trauma
The sudden loss of your job
Having to go through a painful and messy divorce
The sudden death of a very close loved one like a spouse or one of your children
A major type of illness
A major car accident where you are seriously injured
6. Abuse
Child Abuse
Physical, Mental, Financial,Emotional abuse
Another major area to always look for with demons is any kind of abuse in the person’s background. This would include any kind of sexual abuse. Any kind of heavy verbal and/or physical abuse. Demons will try to move in very quickly on both the abuser and the ones they are abusing if they see any kind of verbal, physical, and sexual abuse being inflicted upon someone for any appreciable length of time.

And it came to pass afterward, that he went throughout every city and village, preaching and shewing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God: and the twelve were with him,
And certain women, which had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities, Mary called Magdalene, out of whom went seven devils,
2. The Man with Legions
Luke 8:27-33 NLT
26 So they arrived in the region of the Gerasenes,[c] across the lake from Galilee. 27 As Jesus was climbing out of the boat, a man who was possessed by demons came out to meet him. For a long time he had been homeless and naked, living in the tombs outside the town.
28 As soon as he saw Jesus, he shrieked and fell down in front of him. Then he screamed, “Why are you interfering with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? Please, I beg you, don’t torture me!” 29 For Jesus had already commanded the evil[d] spirit to come out of him. This spirit had often taken control of the man. Even when he was placed under guard and put in chains and shackles, he simply broke them and rushed out into the wilderness, completely under the demon’s power.
30 Jesus demanded, “What is your name?”
“Legion,” he replied, for he was filled with many demons. 31 The demons kept begging Jesus not to send them into the bottomless pit.[e]
32 There happened to be a large herd of pigs feeding on the hillside nearby, and the demons begged him to let them enter into the pigs.
So Jesus gave them permission. 33 Then the demons came out of the man and entered the pigs, and the entire herd plunged down the steep hillside into the lake and drowned.
3. Blind and mute man
Matthew 12:22-23
Then was brought unto him one possessed with a devil, blind, and dumb: and he healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spake and saw.
And all the people were amazed, and said, Is not this the son of David?
4. Spirits that cannot be cast out Except With Prayer and Fasting
Mark 9:25-29
When Jesus saw that the people came running together, he rebuked the foul spirit, saying unto him, Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I charge thee, come out of him, and enter no more into him.
And the spirit cried, and rent him sore, and came out of him: and he was as one dead; insomuch that many said, He is dead.
But Jesus took him by the hand, and lifted him up; and he arose.
And when he was come into the house, his disciples asked him privately, Why could not we cast him out?
And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting.
What demons/spirits can be released by prayer and fasting?
1.The spirit of deception
Definiton of deception
a: the act of causing someone to accept as true or valid what is false or invalid : the act of deceivingresorting to falsehood and deceptionused deception to leak the classified information the fact or condition of being deceivedthe deception of his audience
b: something that deceives : TRICKfooled by a scam artist's clever deception
Deceit H4820- מִרְמָה mirmâh, meer-maw'; from H7411 in the sense of deceiving; fraud:—craft, deceit(-ful, -fully), false, feigned, guile, subtilly, treachery.
Jeremiah 9:6 Thine habitation is in the midst of deceit H4820; through deceit H4820 they refuse to know me, saith the LORD.
beguiled H5377- נָשָׁא nâshâʼ, naw-shaw'; a primitive root; to lead astray, i.e. (mentally) to delude, or (morally) to seduce:—beguile, deceive, × greatly, × utterly.
Genesis 3:13 And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, H5377 and I did eat.
The scripture in Genesis tells us what happened in the garden with Eve. She did not obey the Word of the Lord God Almighty, she made a choice to follow someone elses advice.
How many times have we followed someone elses advice that lead us into trouble?
2. Demons cause Harrasment and Anger
Definition of anger
1: a strong feeling of displeasure and usually of antagonism (see ANTAGONISMsense 1b)You could hear the anger in his voice.She found it hard to control her anger.

Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.
Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:
And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

Place- G5117- τόπος tópos, top'-os; apparently a primary word; a spot (general in space, but limited by occupancy; whereas G5561 is a large but participle locality), i.e. location (as a position, home, tract, etc.); figuratively, condition, opportunity; specially, a scabbard:—coast, licence, place, × plain, quarter, + rock, room, where.
the devil-G1228- διάβολος diábolos, dee-ab'-ol-os; from G1225; a traducer; specially, Satan (compare H7854):—false accuser, devil, slanderer.
3. Demon Spirits torment you
Definiton of Torment
1: extreme pain or anguish of body or mind : AGONY 2: a source of vexation or pain 3: the infliction of torture (as by rack or wheel)
Demons can torment you physically, spiritually and emotionally.
One way they do this is by ruminating thoughts. ( to learn more see my post on What is Ruminating)
Rumination refers to the tendency to repetitively think about the causes, situational factors, and consequences of one's negative emotional experience (Nolen-Hoeksema, 1991). Basically, rumination means that you continuously think about the various aspects of situations that are upsetting.
Philippians 4:4-7 (ESV)
4 Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice. 5 Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; 6 do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
1 John 4:18
There is no fear G5401 in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
fear-G5401- φόβος phóbos, fob'-os; from a primary φέβομαι phébomai (to be put in fear); alarm or fright:—be afraid, + exceedingly, fear, terror.
1 Samuel 16:14-16
Now the Spirit of the LORD H3806 departed from Saul, and an evil H7451 spirit from the LORD terrorized H1204 him. Saul's servants then said to him, "Behold now, an evil spirit from God is terrorizing you. "Let our lord now command your servants who are before you. Let them seek a man who is a skillful player on the harp; and it shall come about when the evil spirit from God is on you, that he shall play the harp with his hand, and you will be well."
We are told that when the Spirit of The Lord God departs from us, that evil spirits have room to come in an cause us to doubt The Lord God, ourselves and those who love us. (Read Romans 8) We might experience physical pain, depression, anger and other things that The Lord has Called us to control ourselves through prayer and fasting.
The Lord- H3806- יְהֹוָה Yᵉhôvâh, yeh-ho-vaw'; from H1961; (the) self-Existent or Eternal; Jeho-vah, Jewish national name of God:—Jehovah, the Lord. Compare H3050, H3069.
evil-H7451- רַע raʻ, rah; from H7489; bad or (as noun) evil (natural or moral):—adversity, affliction, bad, calamity, displease(-ure), distress, evil((-favouredness), man, thing), +exceedingly, × great, grief(-vous), harm, heavy, hurt(-ful), ill (favoured), + mark, mischief(-vous), misery, naught(-ty), noisome, + not please, sad(-ly), sore, sorrow, trouble, vex, wicked(-ly, -ness, one), worse(-st), wretchedness, wrong. (Including feminine raaah; as adjective or noun.)
Terrorized-H1204- בָּעַת bâʻath, baw-ath'; a primitive root; to fear:—affright, be (make) afraid, terrify, trouble.
4. Demon Spirits Compel us to do things
Define Compel
a: to drive or urge forcefully or irresistibly Hunger compelled him to eat.The general was compelled to surrender.
b: to cause to do or occur by overwhelming pressure Public opinion compelled her to sign the bill.
Examples of being compelled to do something include:
Bitting your nails when stressed
Stealing
Not eating due to anxiety or depression
Having sex because the attention makes you feel good
Drinking to much
Over indulgent when shopping
Spending money when you need to pay bills
1 Corinthians 6:18-20
Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
Proverbs 20:1
Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise.
5. Spirits of Demons Enslave People
Define Slave
1: a person held in servitude as the chattel of another
2: one that is completely subservient to a dominating influence
3: a device (such as the printer of a computer) that is directly responsive to another
Some devices that cause dominating influences in life can include
drugs
alcohol
sex
violence
abuse
aggression
friends/family
Anything that causes you to sin
How To Get Delivered from Demons
Confess each one of these sins direct to the Lord, apologize to the Lord for engaging in these sins for as long as they have, and then ask God, through the blood of His Son Jesus, to fully forgive them of these sins and to fully wash away the stain of these sins from their souls.
Repent and renounce on each one of these sins. When you repent of a sin, you are telling God that you will never, ever go back to it again. If the person ends up going back to the same sins after they have been delivered from the demons, then the same demons can then come back on them and possibly bring back more demons who are going to be seven times more wicked than the first set of demons were, thus making their next state much more worse than what their original state was.
Fully break and fully sever any ungodly soul ties if there were any other partners involved with them in any of the above sin areas.
Philippians 2:1-11 NLT
Is there any encouragement from belonging to Christ? Any comfort from his love? Any fellowship together in the Spirit? Are your hearts tender and compassionate? 2 Then make me truly happy by agreeing wholeheartedly with each other, loving one another, and working together with one mind and purpose.
3 Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. 4 Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too.
5 You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had.
6 Though he was God,[a] he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. 7 Instead, he gave up his divine privileges[b]; he took the humble position of a slave[c] and was born as a human being. When he appeared in human form,[d] 8 he humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross.
9 Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
There is Freedom from evil demons. Some require fasting and prayer. I pray that the things in your life causing you to struggle, to hurt, to fail be Removed in Jesus/Yahusha HaMashiach Today!!
