True Word of Yah: Fruit of the Spirit: What is Patience?

Maybe you grew up hearing that patience was a virtue. Well I am here to tell you that Patience is Much much more important than a virtue.

The Definition of virtue:

behavior showing high moral standards. "paragons of virtue" synonyms: goodness, virtuousness, righteousness, morality, integrity, dignity, rectitude, honor, decency, respectability, nobility, worthiness, purity; More 2. (in traditional Christian angelology) the seventh highest order of the ninefold celestial hierarchy

What is Patience and Why it is More Important than Just " a virtue"?

➡️The dictionary defines patience as: noun 1. the capacity to accept or tolerate delay, trouble, or suffering without getting angry or upset. "you can find bargains if you have the patience to sift through the dross" synonyms: forbearance, tolerance, restraint, self-restraint, stoicism; More 2. chiefly British term for solitaire (sense 1).

Did you know patience is derived from patient which means:

pa·tient /ˈpāSHənt/Submit adjective

able to accept or tolerate delays, problems, or suffering without becoming annoyed or anxious. "be patient, your time will come"

➡️Job is the Most Patient man I know. When I get down to the bottom of my mental level, I open up Job and remember his: faith, love, joy, and patience he had while he lost: his family, his farm, his health. ➡️Job Never Lost his faith while being molded as an example for today. Abba knew this generation would need an example of Patience and Job is definitely the best example of being steadfast.

Strongs Hebrew H750-אָרֵךְ ʼârêk, aw-rake'; from H748; long:—long(-suffering, -winged), patient, slow (to anger).

✨ Ecclesiastes 7:8 Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof: and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.

➡️ Abraham was told he would be the Father of Many Nations. He was told Sarah who was barren would give birth. However Abraham Was Not Patient and impregnated Hagar.

✨✨Genesis 16 is a Prime Example of the Reprocussions that Happen when we act in our Own best interest rather than being patient.

➡️We are told to be cheerful, hopeful and enduring. At times this can be so hard. But patience helps us grow in Abba Yah's designed plan for our life and purpose

✨✨Luke 8:15 But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.

✨✨Luke 21:19 In your patience possess ye your souls

✨✨Romans 2:6-8 Who will render to every man according to his deeds: To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life: But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath

✨✨Romans 5:4-5 And patience, experience; and experience, hope:

And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us

➡️Scripture defines how a man and woman should act with patience

✨✨ Titus 2:2-3 That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience. The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;

➡️Patience in Long-suffering and steadfastness is a must.

Romans 2:2-7 But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things.

3 And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?

4 Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?

5 But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;

6 Who will render to every man according to his deeds:

7 To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:

Colossians 1:10 -12 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

11 Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;

12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:

➡️Patience is more that a virtue. Patience is a requirement for refinement, a Preparation for Yah's Kingdom. Without patience there is no growth or change.
